Go wild and celebrate your child's birthday with the jungle party theme. It is a wonderful theme for kids birthday bashes! Start off by create unique invitations in animal shapes like monkeys, elephants, lions. Your party message can begin saying, We're going WILD……!

Decorate rooms using cardboard and green poster paint for foliage. You can make vines by twisting green crepe paper and draping it from one end of the room to the other. Potted plants like ferns can be brought inside to add to the mood. Place stuffed animals where they can be seen and played with by the young party guests.

You could even transform your guests into little lions, zebras or other wild animals with some simple ideas. Fashion animal ears and add stripes and spots. Or you could have the kids dress up in animal costumes. You can serve food such as hamburgers, pies or hotdogs – labeling them with exotic names such as Hippo Burgers, Snake Buns, and Tiger Pies. For a Jungle theme, food such as bananas and pineapple is perfect. You could even make fruit salad and serve it in halved coconut shells for an exotic feel.

Serve lime sherbet in cool green plastic tumblers. You can give away animal cookies as favors.
